My husband bought a Motorcycle Jack made by Blackjack last year at Costco. It enables you to lift both wheels off the ground at the same time. It cost us $119.99 CDN but I've heard that in the States they sell for $99.99 USD. It works really well with my Savage, you just need a piece of wood for the frame. It's very easy to use. $100 is a lot of money but it seems to be well worth it. My husband's bike got a nail in the tire a few months ago, and he was able to hoist it up, remove the rear wheel himself and leave the bike suspended until he got the wheel back from the shop. It saved us quite a bit on labour costs, thereby paying the cost of the lift in part.
